The one-bedroom bungalow at La Shamana was absolutely stunning! The spacious living room with a kitchen made it feel like a cozy home away from home. The hammocks in the outdoor area were the perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking views. I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and beautiful accommodation.

While the view from the one-bedroom bungalow was spectacular, I personally found the showers with rainfall showerheads a bit underwhelming. However, I understand that others may still find enjoyment in them.

The architecture of the building was modern yet blended perfectly with the natural surroundings. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, being close to both Cahuita and Puerto Viejo made it convenient to explore the area.

While staying at this jungle hideaway, we encountered a few minor issues. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the water temperature was a bit on the cool side.

Pura Vida! Poshly surrounded by wild nature, I witnessed the rarest creatures in their habitat. The bungalow's terrace with hammocks and the rainfall showerheads added to the luxurious experience. Safety measures like fire extinguishers were so charming. Oh, and who needs air conditioning when the howler monkeys provide a free wake-up call at 5 am! Absolutely delightful! And the drive to the hotel? Such a thrilling adventure!

We had a fantastic time at La Shamana in Cahuita. Our purpose for travel was to relax and connect with nature, and this place exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully decorated, offering amazing views of the jungle. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds and monkeys. The breakfast served by the owner was delicious and the option to reserve dinner was a great bonus. The ecolodge was unique and integrated into the jungle, providing an authentic experience. Watching monkeys from our porch was a highlight of our stay.
